Our expertise lies firmly in identifying and developing projects with Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and emission reduction potential in Nigeria and Africa as well as taking CDM projects from initial UNFCCC documentation through to issuance of Certified Emissions Credits (CER’s) and trading of the CER’s for tangible income. We are focused on sustainable development, job creation and the promotion and awareness of CDM, firstly in Nigeria where we work with Government, industries and the financial sectors and then throughout West Africa.
We also act as a clean energy broker, facilitating partnerships between international clean technology investors with governments and communities. We are committed to providing solutions for some of Africa’s most pressing problems including energy poverty, job creation and climate change mitigation. Our projects seek to promote technology adaptation, and build capacity within our continent.
Enviro Africa seeks to facilitate partnerships which leverage required financial investment and technology to harness Nigeria’s untapped clean energy resource. We act as clean energy brokers, seeking out tangible projects within communities and sourcing the finance and required technology to secure sustainable projects within the country.
Diesel to Gas Fuel Switch CDM Project
Enviro Africa is a retained CDM consultant on a proposed CDM fuel switch project within the Nigerian Niger Delta community. The project aims to switch all community generators from diesel to natural gas which would normally be flared during our clients operations, thereby providing stable electricity power options for the community. It is expected that the project will improve air quality in the area as well as create jobs within the community.
